Weather Flyer

Hebrides Weather has now introduced the Weather Flyer which contains the latest satellite image, detailed 2 day forecast for the Stornoway area and a 5 day outlook on graph format.

This Weather Flyer is designed to be printed onto an A4 sheet and can be displayed by local hotels, guesthouses and companies for the convenience of their guests and visitors.

Please let us know if you use this new facility and any feedback is welcomed.

  2. Hi Richard, I can't do both MPH & Knots it has to be one or the other.
    I'm thinking about changing it to MPH anyway as most people can understand that better than Knots.
    Would that be better for you?

  4. That's the forecasts now produced with the wind speed in MPH.

  5. Slight alteration to the Weather Flyer;
    I removed the 5-day forecast graph, it just didn't look right on there, but I added the tide times for Stornoway as I thought they would come in handy for visitors to the island.

  7. The Earthquakes page is still there, you'll find it under "Almanac" in the menu or at this URL: http://www.hebwx.co.uk/wxquakeUK.php
    I'll move it into the main menu area as it doesn't really belong in that sub menu. ;)
