STOP CENSORSHIP

Looking at Hebrides Weather today you may think we've been hacked.
Not the case. The "STOP CENSORSHIP" banner at the top of all the pages is in protest to the U.S. Governments attempts to pass new laws that would effect everyone using the internet.
You may have seen this reported in the Press today, the BBC and others in the UK have carried the story, but to find out more about what's being proposed and why there's a protest against it then have a look at americancensorship.org
Don't get me wrong, I support the idea of stopping internet piracy and copyright theft, it's the way in which the U.S. Government is going about it that I don't agree with as it will effect everyone who uses the internet, no matter where they are in the world.

Rather than "Blacking out" Hebrides Weather, I chose the banner as I didn't feel it was fare on my visitors to loose the weather data when the weather is a bit on the nasty side today.
The banner will be removed on the 19th January.
